Business Playce has a great concept that revolves around the idea of "coworking" for small businesses, start-ups, or freelancers alike. However, they were suffering from a bit of identity issue with their previous logo, and website design. I love their ideology and passion for the type of "Playce" they aim to achieve. So I worked with them on improving their identity, and development of their website. You can also catch me there from time to time "coworking" with many other individuals. So feel free to stop in and see what Business Playce is all about. Visit Business Playce ».
This is my contribution to a project started many years ago by Dave Shea. It's a learning exercise in CSS based design and the benefits of designing websites using it. I'm still waiting to see if it will or will not become an official submission; however, I wanted to give my visitors a pre-screening.
This is a finished concept piece I designed as the LuckyKind.com logo. It features various elements of good luck charms around the world. Overall, I had a really good time doing the research on various charms, and really liked how it turned out, but in the end... I decided to go in a completely different direction. So someday I'll turn it into a nice t-shirt.
I was asked to brand and create a themed website for the client that spoke "professional" and "serious", yet "fun" and "inviting". It also needed to stand out from other real estate agent cookie cutter websites. I feel it came out real well, especially the Agent Cathie logo, and the color scheme. The client likes it, as I no longer have to sleep on the couch. Visit AgentCathie.com »
After unhappy results with their site makeover, the great people at Calvert Luxury Homes came to me and asked that I help them redesign their website to something simple, easy for people to use and with a touch of class. Visit CalvertLuxuryHomes.com »
SANS was my first job in the field of everything web, and after 5+ years of working with them, I can't thank them enough for the opportunity to learn and grow during my time there. While I was employed with SANS, I did branding work with the different divisions of training they offer. I also contributed to designing and developing some of their back-end applications. I was able to enhance my skills, as well as gain a plethora of knowledge, in programming languages, application development, databases, user interface design, web standards and secure programming practices while I was with them, of which I still use today.
